Interesante cuadricoptero desarrollado por Parrot empresa que aparte fabrica dispositivos para Smartphone, como los Hands Free, tienes entres sus filas el AR.
Este cuadricoptero permite controlarse por WIFI con una tableta o un smartphone y gracias a su cámara HD permite grabar sus vuelos e intercambiar datos de vuelo con otros dispositivos.
Tiene la capacidad de volar sin un mando a distancia, es posible controlarlo con dispositivos móviles gracias a la nueva plataforma de pilotaje soportada por Android y la AppStore: FreeFlight 2.0. Con la cual se pueden geolocalizar las zonas de vuelo, acceder a datos de control, entrar en distintos juegos y aplicaciones e incluso grabar y tomar fotografías en HD.
La cámara HD de (1280 x720) le da la habilidad al piloto de ver mejor hacia donde esta volando, así como también realizar videos y fotos que seria imposible de otra forma.Además, el aparato dispone de un sistema tecnológico de máxima precisión que confiere una mejor estabilidad. MEMS dispone de un acelerómetro, un giroscopio y un magnetómetro de tres ejes además de un sensor de presión con los que consigue que el cuadricóptero tenga la máxima estabilidad.
De hecho dos sensores de ultrasonido analizan la altitud de vuelo mientras que un sensor de presión aporta estabilidad vertical. Finalmente las cuatro hélices y una segunda cámara situada en la zona inferior le permiten elevarse y desplazarse de manera más fluida.
